the opening act at my first festival!

me and my little bro at Indie'Go

I was totally stoked, over the moon, and did i mention stoked to find out i was the opening act at the Indie’Go Festival.

It was a long drive down to Carlow but with the name game on the go from the second round about in my home town (approximately 3 hours from our final destination) i knew the journey would fly by…

We arrived, got the backstage passes and felt very important eating our free gorget beef stroganoff  and waited around for the call.

We got to open the festival which was awesome (especially having crowd support and dancing! cheers shauna and zara) and then got to enjoy fellow NI band SilhouettE absolutely rock the main stage with their awesome set, Im still singing the melody to ‘volume destroyed’ ! UNREAL.

Naoimh finds serenity in simplicity; striking a fine balance between economical song writing and melodic indulgence, she creates music that seductively weaves around you like a cool breeze, before permeating the very core of your heart. Beholding a voice brimming with impassioned honesty, her songs take on a life of their own, each one glimmering with an original personality and making a personal connection with her listener.

The whimsical life-affirming spirit of her music invokes the sensation of carelessly floating down the calmest of rivers. These songs can provide comfort to the most troubled of souls. She has garnered significant praise from various high-profile local contemporaries, such as Cat Malojian and Grammy-nominated Ciaran Gribbin, A.K.A. Joe Echo.

Naoimh has her ego firmly planted on the ground, but her ambitions are floating somewhere amongst the clouds.
